Bride

Jen is 23 and has lived in Brantford all her life. She currently is a program secretary for 2 of Mohawk College's health programs down at their McMaster Campus in Hamilton. When she sneaks away from the office, she likes to play with (annoy) her pets, and she is an avid My Little Pony collector, much to Matt's annoyance.

Groom

Matt is 24 and also is a native Brantfordian. He is working fulltime overnights at the Sunoco on St. Clair Blvd (Garden Ave). When he's not watching the pumps, he can usually be found playing video games and keeping the kitty cat company.

How we met

Jen and Matt met in high school. Both were part of a larger group of friends, and after a year of friendship, Matt wrote her a shy but sweet note. Over 7.5 years later, and still going strong.

Proposal

As mentioned, Jen collects MLPs, and also is a moderator on the *MLPArena* (where she's known as Kiwi) - which she managed to "lassoed" Matt (known as Raijha) into as well. The Arena sports a "Pony of the Day" feature on the front page. Sneaky Matt asked the owners for a favour and put up a *special image* for the Christmas 2007 PotD. So sweet, and perfect. (And she obviously said yes!)
